

National Executive Meeting of CPAI Addressed by Hon’ble whole time SEBI Member
The National Executive Meeting of the Commodity and Capital Participants Association of India (CPAI) was held at Kasauli, Himachal Pradesh, and was graced by Shri Kamlesh chandra Varshney , Hon’ble whole time Member, SEBI, along with Shri Amit Pardhan, Regional Head, SEBI.
In his keynote address, Shri Varshney reaffirmed SEBI’s unwavering commitment to Ease of Doing Business and, most importantly, Investor Education & Protection. He emphasised that under the clear direction of SEBI’s Hon’ble Chairman, Investor Education & Protection remains a top priority—essential for building trust and ensuring long-term market development.
He also appreciated CPAI’s active role in representing market participants and encouraged open dialogue to further enhance regulatory clarity, reduce operational challenges, and promote wider investor participation.
CPAI President Shri Rakesh Jain expressed gratitude to both the SEBI Member and the Regional Head for their presence and insights. He highlighted that the broking fraternity feels more confident and aligned with SEBI’s consultative and market-friendly approach.
The meeting concluded with a shared view that India’s financial markets are poised for strong and sustainable growth, led by reforms, innovation, and a deepened focus on Investor Education & Protection.
